Alex has spent a decade in product development as an engineer and strategist helping one-man start-ups and Fortune 50 companies design their futures. He’s built machines to make the perfect smoothie, or pancakes at a push of a button. He’s talked to fishing charter captains in Louisiana about the next big thing in boat motors, and moms about the nursery of the future. Throughout it all he’s witnessed the value of being purposeful in your listening, and flexible in your designing.

Following his career as an engineer at Altitude, an innovation design consulting firm in Boston, he now consults on market research and product strategy. He helps empower organizations to make better decisions and products through a research-driven process to define customer values.

Alex is a grizzled explorer of the remote corners of YouTube, a devotee to the Church of Amazon Reviews, and is very certain there is no such thing as “too much outdoor gear.”
